A SERIOUS ACCIDENT

A serious accident is reported to have taken place on Thursday altornoon at Slatev Creek alaiut three miles from AVaiho. ' Tt appears that Air John [Tansbury the well known Loss carrier was taking his l.oy’lnnd motor lorry loaded with a valuable cargo of merchandise including a crate of crockery and a. large gramophone to Waiho. There was a llood in Slatev Creek, and the lorry stuck in the creek bed. The flood waters rose and tlie lorry capsized rolling down stream several times and the whole of the valuable cargo aboard was lost, while tbc lorry is reported to he badlv smashed. The accident will involve a large monetary loss to Air Hans bury.
