TEST TEAMS. McLARKN’S ADYICE. [Australia Sr N 7. Cable Association.] LONDON. Dee. 3. McLaren urges the immediate appointment of a test captain and a tentative selection of the team based on the captain’s wishes. He recommends the suspension oi the County championship for 1926 to prevent over working the bowlers and batsmen and enable the development of a dashing style necessary to win tests. McLaren says: "The Australians’ mastery of strategy may prevent ip from winning. We have been beaten in the past liecause of our mistakes, principally in slip fielding. I think we shall win if our material is properly managed, but it is time to start now."
