THE CHIEF JUSTICESHIP. MR SEEK REIT ABPOI XTED. WELLINGTON, November 28. The Chief Justice, Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Stout has intimated to the Government his intention to tender ids resignation. The resignation is to take effect on the Ist of l-'ehruary. 1025. The Government •have offered the appointment of Chief Justice to Mr C. R. Skerott, K.C., of Wellington. The Government have now been advised of Mr Skerrett’s acceptance of the office. THE PRIME MINISTER. WELLINGTON. November 20.
