Hokitika, was united to Eva., .■oungest daughter ol the late Mrs E. J. Thomas, of Grey mouth. The bride, who was given away by her brother, was attired in a putty-coloured tonic frock, -.hoes and stockings to match, with ,;i\c blue bat. with streamers, ind carried a shower bouquet. ’I be iride was attended by her two nieces, Misses .Myrtle and Pearl OKon, tbe former wearing salmon pink knitted silk- frock and black picture bat with streamers, and tbe latter saxe blue m.nrocain. with bat to match. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet o! blue and pink Mowers. Air Albert Thomas, (brother of the bride) was host man. while Air Erie Goodfellow (brother of the bridegroom) was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was hold at tbe resilience ol Mr and Airs W. Goodfellow, where the usual toasts were duly honoured. Later in the tfternonn tbe newly-married couple loft for Greymouth on route to Christ--liiiroh, whore tbe honeymoon will be spent. CONDON—FAHEY. At St. Patrick’s Church. Kumnrn. an Wednesday a marriage of considerable interest was celebrated. Tbe parties were Aliss Honora Fahey, third laughter of Air and Mrs Ai. Fahey, of Kumnrn. and Air John Condon, son of Mr J. Condon, of ALuhitahi. South Westland. The oeromnny was performed bv the Rev Father Healey, ol Ross, assisted by tbe Rev. Father Einnerty, of Kumara. Tbe bride, who was given away bv her father, wore it beautiful Tress of ivory ehnrmeuso trimmed with radium late, and a king court tiuiti was lined with georgette and trimmed with silk braid. She wore the orthodox veil and coronet, and carried a bouquet. Tbe bridesmaids. Afisses Delia and Nellie Fahey, sisters of the bride, wore frocks of grey marooain ■mbroidered with mauve, with hats to match. Air .Martin Fahey, brother of the bride, was best man. After the '•creninnv a reception was held at tbe •■esidenee of the bride’s parents. Mr and Afrs Condon later left by motorcar for Grevmouth, on route to Dunedin.
