Tin* mechanical staff of all the coal mines at Collioliold have struck, demanding increased wages and improved conditions. There is danger of several mines being Hooded, if the electric power is not, forthcoming.
EIRE IN ENGINEERING WORKS. ADELAIDE. Nov. 17. Fire gutted the engineering works of the Whittings and Low Engineering Gov. The damages is estimated at WHEAT HARVEST. I’EHTIf. Nov. 17. The wheat harvest is estimated at 20,022,810 bushels, a reduction of 3,864,581 bushels as compared with last season.
