APACHES HOE ENGLISHMAN. L’AIUS, Sept. 28. Detectives are, scouring the underworld of Paris for three apaches, who in the early hours of yesterday morning, attacked and roll lied an English traveller in the liois do Boulogne, near the Alee do I-ongchainps, assaulting him with life preservers and knives, and robbing him of his pocket-book containing £2O and various documents.
The Englishman, whose name is given as \Y. I). H. Lyon-Maxwcll, 37. a eolfee planter, of Kenya Colony, was found in the road by a passing motorist. who took him to an hotel. He was removed to hospital, but bis injuries were found to be only superficial.
