ADELAIDE, November 15. Victoria in the first innings made 271 (Ryder 53, Hendry 34, Love 63 hiddicutt (not out) 62). Grimmett took 5 for 95, and Scott 3 for 105. South Australia in their second innings lost 2 for 114 (Gunn 67, Walsh 24, Pritchard (not out) 17). Stumps were then drawn. The weather was fine and the wicket was good. The Victorians looked like making a big score, but, with the exception of the more experienced batsmen, they found Grimmitt’s " bosies ” most destructive. Grimmett made short work of them. Gunn batted in great style for South Australia.

For University, against Northern Districts, Taylor made 123. For Paddington against Randwick, Datson made ninety.

For Northcote against tS Kilda, Hnrtkopf made 110 not out, and took six wickets for fifty-six. For Fitzroy, against Carlton, Dumrnet made eightyeight; for Praham against Richmond, Davie made S 7.
