For the corresponding quarter last year the total was £2,014.026. The principal items last quarter were —Spirits, £317.370: cigarettes. £l5O- - British preferential tariff, £682.568; general tariff. £510.288; in Excise duty beer paid £143.201, as against £116.121 the previous year.
