Australia it N.Z. Cable Association.] DEMONSTRATIONS IN DUBLIN LONDON, November 11. Fifteen were injured and a panic was caused hy the throwing of a smoke bomb and fights between rival sections after the Armistice celebrations in Dublin. Ex-Corporal Oates succumbed to injuries. Alter nightfall Republican demonstrators in the streets broke the windows ol the Masonic Hall, hut elaborate police precautions prevented conflicts. Detectives following the procession in a car fired over the heads of the demonstrators for the purpose of clearing the streets.
LON Do x cELE BR A TlO XS. LONDON. Nov. 11. Armistice Night was marked hy teverente instead of revelry, as heretofore at the Albert Hall, where a Victory Ball was postponed. Ten thousand participated in the service of remembrance. and twenty thousand were unable to get seats. Thousands stood outside in the bleak night air. On the contrary, however, file leading hotels and restaurants in the At cst End hold gala dinners and dances. At many churches and chapels throughout Britain, short services of remembrance wort* bold.
