The seamen continue to return to the ships, despite the mislead in"; reports regarding the position in other States, which arc in circulation with the object of persuading the men to hold out until next week. The hope of a .Labour victory at the elections is "icing encouragement to the leaders to prolong the strike. The shipowners state there arc no men on strike.at Brisbane or Adelaide. The only men remaining at those ports arc deserters whose places have been tilled, and who therefore, cannot be on strike. The Port Ilardv sails to-day. the crew who struck at Brisbane, having signified their desire to return. They were brought to Sydney bv rail to rejoin the ship. BRISBANE. Nov. 12. After being held up for three months the steamer Muhin sailed with a full crew;. The Watersiders’ Federation at Bowen have declared black all the sugar at Bowen. Their action followed the farmers’ loading of the steamer Corrimal The decision will probably affect all steamers calling at Bowen for sugar. MELBOURNE. Nov. 12. Four more steamers sailed with full crews. Only four idle vessels are nowin port, and it is exjiected that by the middle of next week- all ships will he moving. ADELAIDE. Nov. 12. The Zoalandie has sailed. The port is now free from idle ships.
