Hnllings. tlio unsuccessful National candidate at tbe recent election for tbe Maimwatu seat has served a. writ on the returning officer to ,**pset the election, claiming that bis vas the only nomination in on the tenth day before tbe election. Mr ITfillings claim is that the closing day for nominations was the 25th October and not tbe 27th as set.out by tbe electoral Department.
