GUERILLA WARFARE. LONDON, November 3. The National Political league lias received a cablegram from Jerusalem that the Palestine Arabs have struck work on the anniversary of tlio Balfour declaration, ns a protest against the Damascus atrocities. Guerilla warfare in Syria is enveloping vast areas' of tlio country between Homs and Damascus and has shaken the French control. The guerillas dominate there.
Another message says eleven villages in Damascus district have joined the guerillas, who are now beseiging four towns. TWELVE HUNDRED PERISH. LONDON, November 3.fc A message received by the National Political League states that in tho revolt in Damascus prison, which was bombarded, all of twelve hundred prisoners perished. British diplomatic circles, commenting on a “ Daily Express ” story as to Turks crossing Syria, state timt under the Eraneo-Turkish agreement tho Turks are allowed to transport troops destined for the Kurdish border by railway, crossing Syrian territory. Eanco informs Britain of the details thereof. The number of Turkish troops in the Mosul area is never increased.
