I.usk 8 and B. B. Wood all square; H. W. MacKarlane 1 upon A. 11. Blank; .1. L. Black 3 up on M Macßcth; A. E. Conway 3 lift oil J. Quinn. The lirst round of the Professional Golf Championship resulted : Mclntosh ■"> up on Ritchie. Branch 1 up on ,1. Gallaway. .]. Clements 2 upon Ross. F. Hood 9 ti]) on Mcßae. C. Clements 1 up on Rutters. Green I up on Blair. Moss I up on Forrest. Shaw 3 up on Lambic. Mclntosh and Ritchie went, out in 3,8 and were all square. At the turn Mclntosh came home in 33, finishing o up Oil Ritchie. Mclntosh’s full round was 71, which is, so I nr. the best tor the meeting.
