Spcnrset made the running into the • straight, and Yaals headed him at the distance, and Amonnis. who had been lying bandy, in a lino linisit, won by a neck. Time 1.-jLJ. Itosehill Cup.—l’illiewinkie 1. Itoval Roue 2, Strongbow 3. Thirteen started. Strongbow and Dialogue Were the most prominent to the distance, where Solidify took charge. Pilliewinkie who had been lying fifth, coming very last won by one and a half lengths. I ini.e 2.ISJ. This is a record lor the course. Hill Stakes.—The Hawk 1. Manfred 2, Admetus 3. Seven started. Admetus was quickest, away, being iolluwcd by the Hawk, Spearfclt, Alanfred and I.ittle Chanee. TTtese were the positions till the distance had been passed. Then The Hawk shot out. and linishing fast, won by a length. Time 1.38’. Pilliewinkie’s elfurt in lowering the Rosehill course record was all the more laudihle in view ot the fact that he carried the heavy impost of Ibid. PII.I.IEAYIN KIE ’ S PER FORM ANTE. SYDNEY’.
