The .Manager of the Queensland League team this morning denied the claim that the All Blacks are the finest Rugby team in the world, and has issued a challenge to play them in Auckland on October 10th. with thirteen men aside, one spell, under League rules and one under Union rules, the proceeds to go to charity.

The question of out-of-pocket expenses of the manager of the junior team were referred to the President for nlteniioii. .Mr .McGregor was appointed manager of the junior team to Greymouth next Saturday. Lrom United Club asking for matches for their teams Lilth Grade v. State School, and Fourth Grade v. Lxcolsior Thirds.—Receiveil ami resolved that both games lie set down for Sat nrdav. October 10th. Resolved to call nominations for a junior seven-aside tournament at Kmnara on October fin!, nominations to dose next .Monday evening. Resolved to wire Waiinangaroa Club that their match would take place on October 10th, as October fil’d had been set down for the seven-aside tournament. Resolved that, all trophies bo called in immediately. Resolved to thank Dr Whitten for his services to injured players on Wednesday last and also the manager of the Central Pharmacy.
