The (’elisions’ Amendment Bill was received from the Bouse of Reps, and read a first time. The Life Insurance Amendment Bill and the Coal Mines Bill were also received and read a first and second time pro forma, and referred to the Statues Revision Committee. The Repayment, of the Public Debt Bill was put through its final stages and passed. The Electrical Wiremeti’s Registration Bill was read a second time pro to,-ilia and referred to the Labour Bills Committee. The Council adjourned at 3.55 until 2.30 p.m. to-morrow.

THE HOFSE. The House met at 2.30. The afternoon sitting was taken up with formal business, \t the evening sitting the XV ash in gEp Bill was advanced tt stage. The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Bill, the Samoa Shipping Bill. Forests Amendment Bill, and the Railway Amendment Bill, were put through the committee stage, rend a third time and passed. The House rose at 12.57.
