WEST COAST RUGBY UNION. At a meeting of the Committee held at. Oroymouth last evening, Mawkes Bay Union wrote, advising that their team would arrive at Greymouth by the Reeftou train from "Westport on Thursday, 2-ftli September, and would leave for Christchurch on Monday. September 28th. The team will number 24. It was resolved to call for alternate tenders for ears to convey the South Canterbury team, comprising 22 members, to Westport either on Thursday or Friday. September 17th or 18th, returning to Greymouth on Sunday, September 20th. West la ml Siih-uiifon wrote re Seddon Shield challenge, and also the South Canterbury visit. It was decided to leave all arrangements as regards the match with the Sub-union, hut that the West Coast Union would take over the financial responsibilities of the tour.

A communication was received troni the Holler Union re Ncpia and Mill being included in Mawkes Bay team for Duller and Coast, and it was resolved to reply that as fas as the Most Coast Union was concerned, arrangements for these two players to play in Greymouth wore made independently some time ago with Mawkes Bay’s representative on the Rugby l liiou. Ml Norman McKenzie, and at the time no question as to travelling expenses was brought up. Referees' reports! were read and received. and it was resolved to place two senior players on the caution list, out of Excelsior and Star Clubs respectively. A letter was received from Tnnngahua Sub-union, requesting Hie West Coast Rugby Cnion to arrange for the Newman Shield final match, Reeftou High School v.
