After hearing evidence the Coroner returned a verdict that death was caused by cardiac failure anil shock brought about by injuries to the head and body through being hit by a truck at the Liverpool mine on August 19th n (l blame being attachable i,i anyone. The death occurred at his residence. (Impel St.. Greymouth, yesterday, of one of the best-known pioneer coal miners of the West Coast in the person of Air James Rooney.
