This concluded the evidence for the defence. Mr Joyce made application for counsel to supply written addresses on the law prints and after an objection by Mr Murdoch, who was prepared to submit his argument at once, the Warden agreed to the course submitted by Air Joyce, and judgment was reserved to next sitting at Hokitika.
