Charles Jones’ newest William Fox production, now showing on Wednesday at the Princess Theatres. If this isn't enough to satisfy his thousands of followers, particularly among the great army of small hoys of the world "ho adore the star. Jones says he "ill make it five next time. “Western l.nek” concerns the adventures of a young westerner whoso troubles begin on ilie day of his birth. To free his foster father from a crooked deal am at the same time rid his sweetheart of a villainous suitor. Jones has hi-: hands full every minute, lie divides his lighting prowess between a hand of crooks near his home out in the Wed and a gang of hired thugs in New York. He lias two “poachy” lights with the villain ami two with gangs. Notwithstanding the seemingly sanguine nature of this picture, i ready is a .splendid, clean production and will help in increase Jones’ fans by the thousands. George Berniigor directed it from a store by Robert Lee. Pretty ISccurhc Burnham. well-known screen actress, is seen in his supporting east. ’SENSATIONAL SERIAL FILM. Replete with new thrills, “Tin* (Ihost Lily." Universal's sensational new chapter; lay starring Foie .Morrison and .Margaret .Morris, conics to the Princess Theatre on Wednesday. The story, one of the inosi remarkable ever .-creened, takes the Old West, which still exists in the interior cattle country, and compares it with the new West, which is invading the old country in the form of irrigation projects, engineering feats that transform the cattle ranges to farm areas, the airplane used now to patrol forests and watch grain Jires, and the automobile. Traditional thrills and modern thrills mingle in fast succession daring rides, stampeding herds, hreat h-Laking feats in hull-dogging steers tie with desperate races by motor-cycle, thrilling drops front the clouds by Al. Wilson, the celebrated stunt aviator, and other modern excitement. The destruction of a huge irrigation project is the central theme of the sensational masterpiece. The cast is notable. Pete Morrison, the star, is famous as the most, (hiring rider t-u the .screen, and .Margaret Morris plays the principal feminine role. Al.
