["BY TELEGUAPH—run PtIESS ASSOCIATION.] AUSTRALIA v. NEW ZEALAND. WELLINGTON, Aug. 9. The New Zealand Hockey reps, yesterday defeated Australia in the third test match by six goals to one. For New Zealand Watts (Auckland), who played brilliantly, scored two goals in the first ball'. Bell (Canterbury) scored .the third goal for New Zealand. Watts Brothers (Auckland) were responsible for the fourth goal, while Bell ami Watts netted the fifth and sixth scores. J. Gray scored Australia’s only goal.
THE TOURNEY. WELLINGTON, AUG. 9. In tlie hockey tournament, the final resulted in Canterbury defeating Wellington by 3 goals to 1. Qhiartormaiii (2) and AY. Bell stored Canterbury’s goals, while Lusty scored for Wellington.
