The Legislative Council met at 2.50 to-day, and after dealing with purely formal business adjourned at, 2.,'15 until Tuesday afternoon next. THE HOUSE. When tin l House met Ibis afternoon at 2.,‘10 formal business was dispensed with, and the House proceeded immediately to the debate on the Budget, the speakers being Messrs llockly, Isitt, Jordan. Smith. Mcllvride. Corrigan and Alunt ieth. The debate was adjourned on the motion of Mr McKay and the House rose at I I Jo p.ni.
