With the newspaper he ridicules the vicious clement of the city, establishes real law and order and makes a real man ol himself. Played by William Dmiran. lie til Webb: The daughter of an old time, western newspaper editor, who thinks Jerry Hoskins is a card .sharper, but whose sense of lair play impells her to give him a chance of escape when falsely accused. Played by Edith Johnson. Hid man Webb: A typical Western town newspaper editor who ‘‘bets on anything anytime” but who stands for good government and helps Jerry Hoskins to clean up the town. Played bv Francis Powers. Sheriff Gideon : ’Flic hal'd listed, brutal political loader of the Hub City, whose, downfall comes when Jerry Hoskins nulls bis nose and makes him the laughing stock ol the community. Played by Dick f.c Reno. Chris Gideon: The son ol the sheriff, who started a team of horses on a mad runaway with Roth Webb in the buck-hoard. Jerry Hoskins in a Hying leap front his own racing horse to the hack of one of the team saves the girl's lilo. Played by Kdmund Cobh. W’etlierhy: An old-fashioned country printer who sticks to Jerry when all the town is aaginst him. Played by Frank Ileal. Rill Rucker: The candidate of the decent people of Hull City whose election is assured by Jerry Hoskins who impersonates ‘‘Terrible Terry,” a desperado and shows up Sheriff Gideon's against him.. Played hv trank Real. Wood.
The supporting pictures to-night include the Greymouth screen tests taken by Beaumont Smith mid the third chapter of the ‘"The Fast Express” serial. Usual prices.
