A communique from Rabat states extensive operations of mobile columns jn the north and north western districts where the enemy recently penetrated, resulted in the ejection of the enemy from their stronghold in the A/jjen mountains. The enemy lied in disorder leaving sixty dead. A newspaper despatch in describing the operations states the Trench Infantry were most vigorous and tenacious, despite the intense heat.
