EVACUATED WITHOUT HITCH (Received this day at 10.2-3 a.m.) BERLIN, August 3
Reports from all parts .show that the Frnnco-Belgian evacuation of the Ituhr (except three sanction towns— Dnsseldorf, Duislterg and Ruhrort) was everywhere carried out without incident, the inhabitants refraining from any demonstrations likely to cause trouble.

The collapse of the organisation for the repatriation from Poland of persons choosing German citizenship resulted iji eight thousand being crowded into the aerodrome at Sehneidniulil under scandalous conditions. The newspa|K?rs point out the authorities were aware that repatriation must lie completed hv the Ist. of September, yet nothing was done. The Germans from Poland were received as pestering beggars, whereas Poland received the Poles repatriated from Germany, through triumphal arc-new.
