It missed a telegraph post hv inches and was brought up in a narrow passage between two buildings the front wheels being against one building, and the hack wheels in the middle of the footpath. The driver, passengers, and spectators had a great fright, bill iiol'ody was hurt. The damage to property is about £■’>'.). STRANDED SCHOONER SOLD. GISBORNE, July 30. The schooner War Lord stranded at Wnikokpu last year, has been sold to John Burns and Company ol Auckland.
