In the first half of the game between the New Zealand League team and Lismore. the visitors were outplayed, the scores at half time being 18 to 5 against them. They changed their tactics in the second spell and did not rely so much on weight. I hey got the ball more often and made better use of it in the open. The home team team led by one point two minutes before full time, hut Dufty kicked a goal which decided the issue, the New Zealand scorers were Parkes, Brown, Carroll, Avery and Kirwan one try each while Dufty kicked three goals. The final scores were New Zealand 21. Lisin ore 20.
