The ” Daily Express ” understands that Mr Baldwin will ask the coal owners to withdraw their notices to end the National Agreement, pending new investigations as to profits and loss, wages and working costs. The Government, meanwhile, are oflering a limited guarantee against any losses due to delay. MINT. OWNERS AGREELONDON, July 28. It is reported the Mine Owners have agreed to Mr Baldwin’s request to suspend the notices.
