COAL DEADLOCK CONTINUES
LONDON, July 11). The coal deadlock continues. The Government Inquiry will he resumed on Monday, but the miners will not be ' represented. THE PROPOSED ALLIANCE. LONDON. July 10. The Union Conference to consider the proposed industrial alliance was l>v no means unanimous. This is regarded as opening to dangerous possihiltics. Furthermore the constitution trenched on the functions vested in trades union congress. The decision means the project will he seriously delayed. Air Clynes remarked it could not he ready in time for the miners dispute
