GERMAN WAR INQUIRY.
BERLIN, July 18. The “Morning Post’s” Berlin correspondent states that a special committee which was appointed by the Reichstag to investigate the causes of Germany's military collapse ill 1918. have presented their report, which records that they have unanimously reached the conclusion that they are unable to attach criminal guilt to any person. Regarding the moral or historical guilt, the majority of the committee have arrived at the conclusion that nothing has been brought to light to justify a judgment, against any single person, but tbe minority of the Committee oonaifiting of Socialists andf Communicsts. affirmed that such guilt attached to "Marshals Yon Hindenburg and Lude.ndorff. A HORRIBLE FIND. ROME. July 19. A group of people on the shore at Naples watched a large box drift toil'a rds the harbour. They opened it. but recoiled with horror when they found it contained the body of a girl. The theory is that the box was thrown overboard from a ship.
