Tlie ‘Financial Times” editorially commenting on cables from Sydney, says: “It is interesting to find that the Premier of New South Wales is affirming that lie will not consider going to any other centre for financial accommodation so long as it is possible to obtain loans here, and to spend a large part of the proceeds in purchases of British goods. His statement will not make the present policy of loan restriction easier to maintain, and his sentiments are, of course, admirable. We do not suppose the Commonwealth itself deliberately chose to go elsewhere.”
