never have and never will refuse to co-operate with opponents when f know 1 am dealing with honourable men. There is a large section of the Tory Party, especially the young Tories, who are men of very great promise. Thev are sincerely convinced that there are many tilings that are wrong in this country, wdiicii an honest political party can put rigid. Their colleague-, the representatives of massed capital, the old reactionary machine Tories, have more trouble with Hie young Tories titan they have over had with us. Sooner or later the tree mind and the courageous intelligence, and an unfettered desire to hammer out a national policy, will have to !>e token up by the young Tories, not as party politicians but as men with a national outlook. When they lave that problem the partition between us and them will be so thin that they might as well break it down and come over to tlie Socialist- camp. —Air Bamsav MacDonald.
