Mrs E. .Tones, William St. where she bad been living for the past two years. Deceased was born in Buckinghamshire (Fugland 8b yars ago, ami landed in New Zealand when she was two years’ old by the ship Bolton. She had been ailing about ten days. We regret to record the death of Mrs Ellen Gilhinders, formerly a wellknown resident of C'ohdett and lately at Hokitika and Butherglen. v. hit It took place this morning at her son's residence Ruthergleu. Deceased was 78 years of age. Three sons are left, one in Dunedin, George at Hunt and Archie at Butherglen. The funeral will take place oil Saturday.
The Princess Theatre held large audiences yesterday afternoon and evening when the presentation was made of the speeiai picture “The Hunchback of Notre Dante.” The fine film was generally enjoyed the music provided by Air Behan’s Greymouth Orchestra being a special feature which added much to the general enjoyment of the production.

England, and 82 years ol age. He was a miner and came to Zealand at an early age and reached Boss in 15-0-1. where he followed mining pursuits lor many years. The death took place at AYestlaml Hospital to-day of Air dames Walsh, of Hampden St., and formerly of South AYestlaml. after a lengthy illness. The deceased was a native of Gillespies, and .(8 years of age. He leaves a wife and family of two young children, ami bis mother resides at Wataroa. Ilcie ate four brothers (John, Edward. Thomas and Patrick) and seven sisters (Airs Carroll of AYaiho. Airs Nolan of Wataroa. Airs Afanern of Ross, Alt's J. llevoldt of Barrytowii. Airs Carinody ot Tauniaraimi. Mrs Afudford of Hastings, and Aliss Nora Walsh of Christchurch). The funeral takes place on Saturday morning.
