LIBERAL PARTY. WELLINGTON. Juno 30. The Liberal Party met in caucus this afternoon to further consider the question of fusion, but adjourned without coming to a decision.

The House met at 7.30 p.m
The Government brought down an Imprest Supply Bill No 1. authorising an expenditure of £2.483,750 for payment of salaries, public works, etc. On the introduction of the Bill, Air Savage moved an amendment that tho House lias no confidence in the administration of the Government. He said in these days when fusion was in the air. the House and country desired to know where the respective parties siood. AL Wilford said until negotiations for a fusion were completed, his Party would not vote against the Government nor for any amendment moved by the Extreme Labour Party. ‘0„ discussion the amendment was defeated by 36 to 17- tbo Liberals walking out. After a debate lasting up HU 11 p.m. the Bill was passed through all stages unamended. The House rose at 11.12 p.m. MU 7 30 to-morrow evening, when the Ad-dress-in-Roply will be moved and seconded.
