WEDDING BELLS
ELI.FRY—WFRXKR. A quiet wedding wa- solemnised at the Church of England. Rimu, on Wednesday afternoon, the olliciating clergyman being the Uevd. John Perkins. of Hokitika, when .Miss Eileen Werner, second daughter of Mr and Mrs 11. Werner, of Danollie. and .Mr Bert Ellery, youngest son of Mrs Ellery, of Black's Point. Beefton. were united in the bonds ot matrimony. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a nigger brown coat frock, beautifully embroidered, with hat and shoes to match. The bride carried a prayer book, the gilt of Mrs Peake, and was attended by Iter aunt, Mrs Win. McCormack, as matron of honour, whilst Mr John Peake, of Hokitika, acted as best matt. After the ceremony the guests adjourned to the residence oi Mrs Mr Cor in aek. where afternoon tea tvas partaken of and the usual tel notationwere indulged in. In the evening the happy couple left for Otira and the mirth to spend their honeymoon, carrying with tStent the best wishes ol numerous friends.
