At an Admiral's inspection mi hoard the Seattle this morning Admiral County, told the officers and men something about the fleet’s cruise in U/JS. when a .'favourable impression was created by the personnel, the appearance oH the ships and the smartness of the enlisted men. The Admiral commented on the cordiality of the Australian and New Zealand reception and the delightful time spent by the Americans. lie impressed upon the crew lhe necessity of deserving the welcome which was impending.
The Admiral described the interesting trips, throughout Australia, which were afforded even the enlisted men in 19IIH. and the real educational value these excursions offered. Admiral County, concluded lev calling upon the men present, not only to lie of smart and clean cut appearance and present a clean ship upon arrival in Australia and Nov. Zealand. Inn also a line spirit to conform, with the line spirit of the Australians and the New Zealanders.
