[Australia & N.Z. Cable Association.] ASCOT STAKES. LONDON. June 10. The Ascot Stakes resulted:—Nandelieu I. Eastern Monarch 2. Carbonaro 3. Ten started. Won by half a length. PI'RSER OFF TO INDIA. SYDNEY, June 17. Purser, whose win in the Caulfield cup caused such a sensation, has been shipped to India, where he will he raced by a new Indian owner. The horse will he free to race again in October.
