Duty and Decision. Life is made up of a succession of choices. Apart from its beginning and its end- and. indeed, not altogether excepting the latter -there is hardly anv event of our existence upon which we are not called to make a decision. It may be that the field is limited and that the choice thrust upon us amounts to no more than taking the best of a had lot; hut. small and povertystricken as the alternatives may lie, the final judgment upon their respective merits, or lac!; of them, is left to us. and «c meet choose, or sufietr the consequences, ''ruder which King, Bezonian !
