Informal talks took place yesterday in London between the delegates of the All-Russian Soviet Central Trades Union and members of the 'trades iT„j. m Congress Committee, with whom they are to discuss the question of world trade union unity on Monday. Under the guidance of Mr Swales, president of the T.U.C.. the Bolsheviks were shown various places of interest. At the Russian Social Club in the offices of the Rosta Telegraph Agency. St. Bride’s-a-passage. Fleet-street P.A ■ which is a rendezvous for members ol the staff of Arvos. Ltd., the Soviet cooperative trading organisation, the management has posted a notice in large letters reminding visiting comrades that meals should he paid tor before leaving. The notice says: “Have you paid for your meal, comrade?” . . f This reminder occupies the whole or a large fresco stretched across the dining-room.
