The last man in danger wa.s rescued after eighteen hours up a tree. Hundreds of corn pickers and rabbi tern are out of employment. At Cambria the waters have fallen twelve feet.

Aloruya experienced the greatest Hood on record. The coastal .steamer Birmagu was carried bodily over a training wall and .stranded many yards from the channel. In order to rollout her she will have to he beached and a channel dredged to ■the river.
