It was resolved to protest to the Department at the untenable posit ion it was taking up. seeing that the allowance was advertised as part of the annual salary, and as such probably induced many of the teacher- to accept the position-. Mr Andrews said thin the proposal of the Department was most unfair. The Agricultural, Manual and Technical Committee stated that the supervi-or line! reported that in some cases inventories of agricultural toolsubmitted by teachers showed that many implements had gone astray. A good deal of dusenssion took place as to adopting some practical method to obviate this. It was finally agreed that each of the three agricultural instructors 1 ft? requested to formulate a report for next meeting detailing the tools missing from this district during the- past year, and suggesting some scheme which would provide for the proper care of tools and prevent loss.
