Thomas 'Frederick Connolly and Phillip Edward Fallon, Roman Catholic priests, were charged at- the Magistrates’ Court to-day with permitting children under the ago of 10 to attend church during the infantile paralysis restrictions. Defendants pleaded guiltv.
Counsel explained that they had announced from the altar that children were not to attend, and they relied on the parents to see that- the law wa.s carried out.
