From District Nurse in reierence to same matter. —Received; left in the Chairman’s hands to attend to. From W. 11. Evendeu, Kumnra, in connection with proposed Medical Association. —Received. The Chairman stated that at the timer of finaiKial stress there had been a reduction made in the amount ; aid the old age pensioners. The estimates of last year worked out as anticipated in the las! Annual report and whilst the most carefit| economy has been observed throughout we have put up a further record iu treating no lets? than 120 patients for the year at a gloss cost ol £,138. It is | leasing to report our Institution is now completed as far as the building programme goes, and it . tilling the requirements of our eonur.u nit.v amply and in a very efficient marine:. The patients fees collected for t.., year show a considerable increase. We are pleased to record the fact that the good per,pile who have- be.'ll patients are helling the Board by paying, their mainleiiaii, e fees.
