AHAHURA FAT STOCK SALT
Messrs M. Houston and Co., report: Tbe usual fortnightly sale was held at the above yards yesterday, our entry consisting of 93 sheep and lambs and 35 head of cattle. The bulk of the entry of cattle comprised aged and inferior e:nvs and as Hie attendance of buyers was small, competition was not nt 'all keen for these sorts, but good quality l.t-ef sold well at lea-lit rates. We sold on aciomit of Mrs Rossenbeck, 9 fat lambs at ‘29s, 7 fat wethers •i* 35s- in account of clients .. fat lambs passed at 28s. On account of client 1 fat tow at £5 7s fid, 1 »t £> 2s fid. 1 at £1; oil account of -I • D. Stuart, 2 heifers at £5. I cows at £4 ss, -2 runners at £3 15s, 2 small coalers ~t . 3‘>s fid; on aeiount of E. W. Alius. 1 bullock at £B. 1 at £lO 7s Gd. I count £4 7.s fid, 3 vealers at 355. 1 bull at £.(. On account of T. Staines. 2 cows at £6 lo«. I heifer at £3 12s fid 1 at £7 7 at £8 10s. 1 cow at £o 2s fid, 1 calf at 37s fid. On account of Cunningham Bros 2 cows at £3 10s. 1 at £G. On account of D. Bradley 1 cow at £4.
