[Reuters Telegrams.! l-ONDON, April 3. The House of Commons adjourned sine die the debate on a private members’ Adoption of Children Bill, legalising adoption which at present has no legal status in England. .Sir Butler in moving the second reading pointed out in Australia, N.Z.. Canada, and United States, adoption was legalised. Tile Under Secretary of the Home Office promised Government would sympathetically consider the committees recommendations and introduce legislation thereon.
