The belief that the infantile paralysis epidemic was getting to the end of its course in the city, and that the majority of future eases would occur in the country districts docs not appear to lie iusitlied. according to today’s notifications. The disease in Canterbury has pursued a somewhat erratic course, and recently there v- as a decided lull as fas as the City was concerned. Unfortunately the disease seems to have broken out fresh in the metropololit.an area, with the result that six additional eases were reported since mam yesterday, ami are all m the cil,' ami the immediate suburbs. That the Minister of Health he written to. protesting against the removal of the restriction on the isolation of one whose children are .suffering from infantile paralysis. By lilting the isolation from the men. the Health Department are jeopardising the health of the children of the country. NEW DUNEDIN CASES. DUNEDIN. March 20. QUARANTINED AT SUVA. AUCKLAND, March 27. Owing to the infantile paralysis epidemic the New Zealand passengers from Auckland who journeyed to the islands by the Tofua last trip were quarantined at Suva for ten days.
