In connection with l.ord Balfour’s visit to open the Hebrew University on Ist April, tbc students of the Government men’s training college struck and presented an insulting message to their Arab Christian director. The Government have temporarily closed the college, and the students arc returning to their homes. An enquiry is being held with regard to the conduct of the eollego teachers.

He was escorted by armoured cars, while gendarmerie patrolled the hill roads where there was danger of an ambush.
