Jt i.s thus evident that the New Zealand article must, possess certain virtues which make it superior to the foreign tobacco, and not the least i.s its small contents of nicotine. This tact would particularly recommend it to the smoker who studies his health, because New Zealand tobacco, even if smoked excessively, does not affect his heart or nerves', and leaves the mouth sweet and dean.
