A €40,3 tube of radium, part of a supply worth €2OOll presented to Hull Infirmary by Mr T. K. Pereas, is missing. It was used on Tuesday on a baby m the out-patients’ department, ancl it is suggested that the small tube might have lodged in the baby’s clothing and dropped in the street. In 11)13 about £-10 worth of radium was missed from the medical officer of health’s department at Hull and was never found.

New Zealand, and from there carried mails to the Friendly Islands, 1.030 miles distant. Yesterday his sister received a telegram announcing that be had rounded Cane Horn, South America, and reached Port Stanley. The ketch is 42 feet long. .
