Mason failed to get Gloaming Nincompoop and Chignon away lor Sydney by last week’s steamer and cannot get' accommodation for them on tlie Tahiti. If the trip is cancelled, Gloaming will probably race at Trenthnm and Gloaming, Nincompoop and Chignon will all be competitors at the Canterbury Joekev Club’s Itaster Meeting.
